On August 27th, TriplePundit, San Francisco Public Press and Full Circle Fund came together for our August edition of "Stories & Beer"!
We all know that the tech industry is booming in Silicon Valley. We’ve already seen increased pressure on housing and public transportation in the short term. How this economic boon impacts the city of San Francisco and city services over the long term remains to be seen. While this economic influx strains public services, it also provides an opportunity for all members of the community to benefit. The question is: How can tech titans support the local community to benefit all residents?
At this fireside chat at the Impact Hub in San Francisco, we discussed the impact of the tech boon on the community and how the city can respond in a proactive way to keep arts, diversity and community engagement active and thriving in the City By the Bay.
