Touted as America’s craft beer capital, San Diego is home to more than 30 craft breweries, a number which does not include the breweries in planning. Surprisingly it wasn’t until recently that the city could boast having a beer that was locally brewed and canned. That changed when Scot Blair, owner of Hamilton’s Tavern and Monkey Paw Pub and Brewery, decided to can his brews.
Recognizing the benefits of aluminum cans, not only for portability but for the health of the beer, Blair sees cans as "hands down a better solution for the product."
