Javier Quiñones
Javier Quiñones is the CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer at IKEA U.S. where he guides over 16,000 co-workers towards one vision: to create a better everyday life for the many people by offering well-designed, functional and affordable, high-quality home furnishing, produced with care for people and the environment.
He first joined IKEA in Barcelona, Spain, as a part time co-worker in 1997, advancing within IKEA Spain in roles including sales manager and store manager, before joining IKEA UK and Ireland in 2014 as Deputy Retail Manager. In June 2018, he was named Country Retail Manager for the region, and in March 2019, he became the CEO and Chief Sustainability Officer for IKEA U.S.
