Bob Welsh, chief executive of the Australian pension fund VicSuper has
been recognized in the SAM/SPG Sustainability Leadership Awards, which
mark personal excellence in implementing corporate sustainability
principles.

Welsh was given the Pioneer award for integrating sustainability
principles into all the asset classes of the VicSuper fund. He is
considered to be the driving force behind the long-term sustainable
performance of the fund, which manages assets worth US$2.6billion
(£1.43bn).
